The life of a believer can be compared to one on a survival mission, and we constantly have to prepare for war, as our adversary prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
Every Christ-believer must prepare for war at all times. Our adversary is cunning and we mustn’t be caught off guard. We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places – Ephesians 6:12
So, I don’t know if passivity is a sin, but it should be. I say that because it was Adam’s passivity in the Garden of Eden that brought the world to its knees before the evil one. He stood next to his wife and did nothing as the serpent deceived her into eating the forbidden fruit. Worse yet, he also ate the same fruit when Eve handed it to him to partake.
We condemn Adam for what he did, or should I say what he didn’t do, but the truth is, many of us are guilty of the same thing. We got complacent and did nothing as the devil destroyed our homes, our finances, our health, and everything else we hold dear in our hearts.
It’s time for us to wake up from our slumber and put a stop to all this havoc that is happening to us and our loved ones. It’s time to wake up and prepare for war. It’s time to tell the devil, “No more! Enough is enough! Today I fight!”
One of the greatest days of my life was the day I got fed up with all the devil was doing to me. That was the day I drew a line in the sand and said to the devil, “You want a fight? I’ll give you a fight! Buster, you don’t know who you’re messing with.”
From that day until now, I have been more than a conqueror in every battle I have fought. Because I woke up and prepared for war, I can say with confidence that no weapon formed against me will prosper.

Today, the devil shakes in his boots every morning when I wake up. He’s so afraid of me that most of the time he leaves me alone. He knows he can’t win so why try? The Lord sent me here to tell you that the same thing can happen to you if you throw away your passivity and prepare for war. To help you do that, I have written a 16-part series called “Prepare For War” based on Joel 3:9.

I encourage you to take advantage of these resources as soon as possible. The sooner the better because we have to stop what the devil is doing to our lives. If you wake up and prepare for war, it won’t be long until the devil has another man of God to be afraid of.
A final word to you is this: If you’re a sissy, stop being one. If you’re a warrior, stand up and fight. God bless you!
